Distance: 9km
Time: ~1 hr
Feeling: Good
Weather: It's gonna rain. drip. drip.

I am glad i took up running. Thinking back, it did not happen because of any resolution. Rather, it happened quite naturally, most of the 'credit' (if there should be any) goes to zzz, if only for his persistent effort to get me started on exercise instead of staying at home

It used to be nothing before the age of 20.

At 22, zzz had to drag me to jog from 866 to the Lower Seletar reservoir (which was about 2km)

At 23, i started going to the SSC gym and jogged occasionally

At 24, while in BJ, i made an effort to go to CYY gym alternate mornings. That's probably when my early morning exercise habit started

At 26, i came back from BJ and zzz introduced and encouraged longer distance running, starting with a 3km jog, gradually increasing the frequency and distance. I also started going to the SSC gym earlier in the morning

At 27, I started to join the GE 10km and we started to jog to reserviors nearby. Started with Upper Seletar, Upper Pierce and Lower Pierce

At 28, my first half marathon later full marathon

At 29? I am feeling the impact on both my knees now. Hopefully i will be able to continue my runs for many more years. But i am also aware that i probabaly cannot sustain my run frequency. Probably time to start looking for alternative forms of exercise that causes less impact on my legs but the same physical effect.
