The Benjamin Sheares bridge was officially closed but we found a way somehow on Saturday for the 30 minutes show. Glad i put aside any grouchiness 'cos i really enjoyed the spectacular fizzles that seems to be exploding towards us!

Singapore Bay Run 2008
Distance:21 km
Time: 2hrs 27mins (self-timed) , waiting for official chip timing
Feeling: YEAH! i finished my first half-mara!
Woke up at 5am to catch the 5:30am mrt only to find out that Sunday trains start at 5:55am?!
Anyways, we didn't want to deposit our bags at Padang, ( which i thought was a good choice since Padang became a huge mudpool after 2 days of rain prior to the run). ZZZ and me rushed over to my office at Suntec before heading to the flagoff point. Needless to say, we missed the flagoff time and started only at 6:45am.
The run was a good one. I was abit apprehensive about meeting the 21 km mark, abit jittery even. The first 12 km was pretty much run-as-usual but i felt myself getting really tired once we hit the gravels at 14 km mark. Good that ZZZ stayed behind to pace me or i might have slowed down alot more :)
Now to train for the 42km! *GULP*
and to heal the aching muscles.....
