Dous 1st Swimming Adventure

ah-ma was worried and decided to come take a look

We brought Dous to the Yishun SAFRA Swimming complex this morning to splash in the huge 'pong pong' (pong pong = baby talk for bathing) pool. Dous always loves bathing time, kicking her legs and waving her hands in the air as an act of enjoyment, occassionally looking at us as she flashes her 4 1/2 tooth megawatt smile to show us her satisfaction.

Well, we thought that the baby pool should be a big draw for her but our dear Dous decided she was not used to the cool water temperature and the huge pong pong pool where strangely other kiddos were sharing the pool too. Once inside the baby pool, she could sense that it was not her usual bathing settings and protested, with a soprano pitch and even the cute mushroom float could distract her. This is one gal who knows what she wants!

It's ok dous! we can always try again! Dous pa and YZ is always on standby mode to bring you through your first waddles! (Mummy and YY will be rooting for you!) (^_^)
