ColBar & The Daily Scoop

Met the girls at ColBar @ Wessex Estate.

Charming little restaurant in an old colonial house. Menu is alright, mainly western although there are a few Chinese items too. Will appeal to those who reminisces their childhood days spend at those old shop-houses where plenty of such old school restaurants once operated.

Just don't expect any restaurant fare. Its really quite basic with sides originating from canned beans and mushrooms. Some of us probably can whip up a similar fare at home. Those who are interested to go are advised to Google map this place first. It is U.L.U (aka very far away from civilisation) described at best. Almost like a pre-developed Dempsey, you probably can't find your way there easily.

Well, highlight of the day as usual, came at dessert. I finally tasted The Daily Scoop at Sunset Way. We tried a total of 8 flavors between the 4 of us. I had jack fruit (which stoopid woman and HQ thought tasted funny) and brandied figs and honey but loved what the peanut butter i snitched from stoopid woman reminded me of the peanut butter milkshake i so miss at GrandMa's Kitchen in BJ!
