Mellben Crabs @ Toa Payoh ended up as a good spot for dinner and to catch up with friends.
A very hearty meal of butter beehoon crabs + chilli crabs, a whole lot of other sinful food, and our futile resistance to durians (so conveniently located near us) later, we slowly digsested the food with the accompaniment of a busker uncle whose talented repertoire ranges from ABC-Cantonese-Hokkien-Eagles songs. We couldn't help but be won over by his professionalism and skills! He even had adults glued to him and children prancing around as he sang along.
That's what good busking can be about. The ability to make fun, music while keeping the change rolling in. Well, at least that's what i think. Some buskers in Singapore just do not make the cut.
